So Dubai Fashion week showing Spring/Summer 2011 collections started yesterday and I found out some wonderful and inspiring finds in the abaya department. Take a look for yourself:
Simply like this sheer black one:
Like the worked bodice of this abaya ; teal is such a fantastic choice with black:
Animal print! Simply like this one though it doesn’t look like a excellent choice for actual wear:
Modest and simply elegant appropriate for any age, even my mum could rock this look:
I know the pink kinda looks over the top but the abaya looked so cute:
Lamy Abedin’s a collection looked very Japanese inspired, there is a ‘kimono look’ to her every abaya and Japanese parasols and fans were also used as accessories.Lamya Abedin owns an abaya boutique in the U.A.E called ‘Queen of Spades’ which quite matches with her unique collection of abayas don’t you reckon?

This may seem slightly over the top for an abaya but it looks quite excellent, what do you reckon?
